DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER.
Firstly it should be noted that under "Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2016-496" all homes in Canada, and internet packages provided should be no less than 50 mbps down, and 10 mbps up. Their basic package is 30 down, already off to a bad start.

Secondly if you do upgrade to their platinum package, they will happily sign you up without checking to see if they are even capable of providing the promised service.
They take the "up to" in their package descriptions VERY literally. My mother has been paying 104.95 a month for 200 mbps download, however when I investigated I found that we recieve no more than 35 mbps at any given time. When confronted about this, they tested the signal and said it had "an excellent connection" but on their end they could only see around 40 mbps down. That is 20% of the speed she is paying for.

After that they blamed the hardware (that they installed) and claimed that she would need upgraded equipment, HOWEVER they refused to provide it. Claiming that it isn't convenient enough for them as they don't want to upgrade the whole area yet, (who I assume are also being robbed on a monthly basis.).

So to recap, they will charge you for premium service, refuse to provide that service, and then shrug their shoulders and drag their feet when pressed.

Everybody using this provider should check their actual recieved speeds. And report these frauds to the CCTS for their LITERALLY illegal practices.

Shame on you Parolink.
