The visitor centre part of the building is lacking. There were no brochures on the boat ride that we were planning to do even though it was happening the day we were there. Also, the person at the counter was not very helpful giving us information - she just directed us to the brochure area that had missing brochures. The person at the counter also suggested that we go see the “friends of”/ biosphere science centre (forgot the actual name of the place) downtown but it ended up being a building with offices and people were wondering why I was coming in. Obviously this was not a building to visit.

Went for information on area as well as accommodations. The list provided was not up to date and some places had gone out of business 2 years ago! Also didnt know much beyond Parry Sound and had no usual pamphlets and such as found in typical tourist infor center. Not a great experience and we wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out so use Google instead.

Lovely location at water's edge. No overnight parking here but was told RVs can park free at Bobby Orr arena. Staff friendly and helpful.
