This was my second time staying here, and i love it. I was in olds for a swim meet and the hotel is nice and close to the pool. They have an awesome breakfast with pancakes and waffles! The beds were clean and large (We stayed in 2 kings) although the rooms could have used another wip down, the soap was covered in grime and the light switches were not cleaned properly. All things that I could look past.
I would stay here again.

This is our second time staying at the Pomeroy and it still holds up. The room were spacious, however there was little things that gave me the ick when I looked closer. The holder for the soap had a thick layer of grim. The breakfast had good selection. Staff was friendly and welcoming

The Pomeroy- both staff and facilities- far exceed expectations. We have stayed at other hotels in Olds previously, but will only stay here now. Staff is super professional and friendly, rooms are clean and roomy (we get the suite with kitchen, as the price and space cannot be beat). And the breakfast is….wow. By far our favourite place to stay when away from home!

Beautiful, clean, new hotel, reasonable rates and staff is fantastic. Parents visiting past quiet time at a tournament, staff asked us to either keep is quiet in the room or come to the lobby. Evelyn was very accommodating and let us enjoy the evening. Highly recommend this hotel.

I booked a room on April 9, checked into room 231, and tried to sleep. Half an hour later, I woke up from vibration and noise. I went down to the reception and asked if this noise would last all night or if it would stop? They told me that the noise was from the pipes in the wall, they know about it, in that case I asked for another room. 5 minutes later, they gave me another room (despite the fact that I had already slept on the bed). The next day, I had to stay overnight in this city again. I immediately asked for a room away from the noisy one, and they gave it to me. On April 24, when checking in, they again gave me room 231. I immediately asked to change it if it was still noisy. They told me that this is the only accessible one, and it is such that I booked through Expedia, and I can only change or cancel through them. No problem, I contacted Expedia and explained that this room is not possible for sleeping. They calmly canceled my reservation. And I booked a room of a different category. I like this hotel, clean rooms, good breakfast. But WHY do you know about the noise and don't fix it? All three hotel employees knew about this problem! None showed surprise and decided to check what the problem was? (especially for the hotel employees, I know that I booked an accessible room through a third party)

As usual lovey stay. The service is so wonderful-easy to work with, business trip and helped us with special requirements regarding check in. Plug ins in every parking stall, full size bathroom supplies ie shampoo and soap. Queit stay even with hockey tournaments kids running around. Clean well maintained pool and hot tub. Pet friendly very well kept and clean rooms. Nice breakfast and restaurant. Location good right on campus. The only negative if that issue would be nice to have an entrance off the highway. But parking really great and assessable for truck and trailer.

I read a lot of reviews of this hotel and decided to spend New Year Eve there with my family. I called ahead of time to inquire about restaurant's hours and was told that it would be open on December 31 until 10pm.|When we arrived we learned that restaurant is closed for "holidays".|We booked a king suite with "kitchenette ". No plates, glasses, knifes in the room. Just microwave, a small fridge and a coffeemaker. I was glad I packed a knife with us to cut a cake to celebrated New Year. Didn't bring glasses with us so we drank champagne out of paper coffee cups.|Bathroom sink got plugged as soon as we started using it.|Floor in the swimming pool area was kinda clean. Town pool staff does a much better job with keeping their pool grounds clean.. |Hot breakfast that was one of the hotel best features was not available on January 1st as well. Another detail that was not posted on the hotel website.|There were lots of families staying at the hotel so hot breakfast would have been nice. |Posting picture of a breakfast "sandwich". Not sure why ketchup wasn't available with it. Breakfast attendant was not seen so I couldn't ask for ketchup.|I don't think we would stay there for New Year Eve again.
