I love the piano. Such a nice idea. Any time I’m in that area I love to just watch someone walk up and play a tune

All the information you need if you're in town. The parking here is free but if you want to go to the beach then it's a bit of a walk. Beach parking is paid parking and is constantly monitored by parking enforcement. The washrooms at the visitors centre are clean. You can take a walk along the sides by the water. It can be a little chilly in the evenings though so carry a light jacket.

Always clean washrooms, but some handicapped door openers do not work and the men's WC toilet door has been broken for a month!!!
Is there not a weekly check for these kinds of items?
Also, do something about all the Canada Goose droppings on the walkways at the Harbour.

So on a nice sunny Sunday a week ago we went to the Port Stanley visitors center we were told we could park for free when we asked where we should pay!! There were 4 rows of parked cars we did not see a spot when a man backed out and we took his spot!! We thought isn’t this nice! We went across the street to the music on the lawn by the Legion to wish a friend a happy birthday we stayed for about an hour or less!! We came back to our car and found a ticket on our windshield for $70!!
The ticket stated we were not parked in a prescribed spot and I called the bylaw enforcement office and was emailed a complaint form! I filled it out and received a reply by email accompanied by a photo of the parking lot when empty showing there were only supposed to be 3 rows of parking not 4 but to be fair with the lit full you could not see the lines and there were 4 rows neatly parked not crammed and we simply pulled into a spot that someone else vacated!! There are no signs indicating any forms of no parking or warnings that you can be ticketed anywhere! I was told everyone else was ticketed also but I only saw a ticket on our car and I checked! I spoke to the welcome center staff who said the port Stanley municipality is in charge and they only rent space! This is such a flagrant money grab and they make it nearly impossible to argue or go to court with limited daytime hours much too difficult to fight it in the local provincial offences court! This is akin to those speed limit signs behind a tree in the southern US! Let’s put a lot with free parking but ticket everyone who parks in the rows in the middle because they purposely left enough room for 2 rows in the middle to bait people into parking there so they can ticket them later what a crock!! In the welcome center lot no less!! BEWARE!!
