Had the best experience having the Ring crew here for some miscellaneous electrical work! I needed to replace our bathroom fans and had them install new pot lights for our main floor! Super impressed with their lighting design recommendations. My home looks and feels better then ever! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work in Ottawa!

Echoing other reviewers here, we have had an excellent experience the two times we've contracted Ring Electric for work on our home. Derek clearly cares about delivering quality work at reasonable prices and was the only contractor amongst several I contacted who spent the time to do a site visit and graciously answer all my questions.

His team was also very personable, discussed the work with me before starting, and kept me apprised throughout the process, presenting different options or clarifications before continuing. No doubt we will reach out to Ring Electric again for future work.

Our experience with Ring Electric was amazing from start to finish! I’ll start off by saying we are doing a complete kitchen demo and are moving some outlets and switches around. We had several companies come to do quotes (I think 6) and Derek was the only person to actually take the switches off the wall and look inside. He was the only person to offer me two solutions to my problem (at different price points) and he made suggestions that other companies did not. As soon as he left I knew I wanted to go with ring electric. Also the estimate was very reasonable.

Avery and Nathan came to do the work and they were both very professional, friendly and great guys. Nathan explained everything every step of the way and confirmed with us before doing anything. You could tell they worked well together. Both guys were understanding of our pets too. They worked very cleanly and tidied up, tested and explained again before they left. Avery even kept the pieces of drywall they cut out and numbered them so we could patch the wall more easily.

I would highly recommend ring electric and will be contacting them in the future if I ever need anything else done! Thanks guys

Ring Electric was a wonderful team to work with to install our new hot tub!

Derek gave us options and talked us through the logistics of increasing our panel to 200amps vs adding to the current panel, how they would run the wires and what we should expect from the hot tub company on their end. Derek and Devin did great work when they came and made a noticeable effort to ensure we were happy with the end result (options about placement of visible wires, etc). I could tell they were knowledgable and care about quality work. They were polite throughout their time in our home and gracious to let our interested toddler watch them work.

Ashley and Krystle had good communication via email; starting from the estimate/quotes, changing of our schedules (they were very accommodating) and even updates the day-of, with what time to expect the ESA inspector - You know a business is good when the ESA inspector visits and says only positive things about the work they do around Ottawa!

I’m so happy to have found a trust-worthy electrical company and will easily choose Ring Electric again for future projects!
