L'endroit bien situé pour visiter les principaux sites touristiques. Les chambres de l'étage principal ne sont pas des plus modernes mais propres, avec vue sur le lac et le lever de soleil) et spacieuses (grand lit super confortable, table ronde avec 4 chaises, petit canapé, télé, frigo, bouilloire, grand bureau). Les propriétaires, une famille adorable, s'assurent de notre confort et offre leurs conseils pour bien profiter de notre visite. C'est comme resté dans un B&B avec l'avantage d'une chambre à part. L'accès au lac et tout l'espace autour de l'hotel sont vraiment bien aménagés et amusant à explorer (cave, chemin des contes pour enfants...). Dommage que la piscine ne soit pas en opération à cause de COVID. Le petit déjeuner et le souper étaient délicieux et suffisant pour les gros appétits. Ping-pong et feu de camp pour agréer nos soirées. Excellent choix pour les couples ou les familles!

What a beautiful place! The rooms were very clean and well-appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. The view from our balcony was stunning, starting with the gorgeous sun rises, down to the rocks clearly visible in the pristine lake 80 feet below us. The woods on the property provided a refreshing and peaceful walk. The meals were absolutely top-notch. We tried everthing on the menu and were very happy that we had chosen to include breakfast and dinner every day.
Our hosts clearly enjoy what they do. Their pride in their resort and interest in their guests was apparent when we first contacted them to make a reservation. All details were carefully explained and suggestions made to make our stay the most enjoyable. Each morning we mentioned where we were going for the day, and we were given points of interest and best routes to get the most out of our trip.
The genuine friendliness and hospitality we were shown made this a most memorable vacation, and we hope to return next year.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Rock Garden Terrace Resort! The location is breathtaking and the grounds and resort are meticulously maintained. Room was clean and big, with a fantastic view. The staff were so kind, helpful, and attentive and the included breakfasts and dinners were delicious! We went and explored the cave, which was very cool as well. The location is great and allowed us to easily drive to Bridal Veil Falls and the Cup and Saucer trail. The only downside was that the pool and spa were not quite ready, but I look forward to going back again when they are done renovations. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and immerse themselves within the beautiful nature that Manitoulin has to offer.

We were fortunate enough to spend a bit of our summer holiday at this lovely place. I couldn’t have imagined what a wonderful stay we would have.

Making the reservation was simple and, when we wanted to change the dates, they were quite accommodating. We were warmly greeted on our arrival and Carmen took extra time to help with maps and directions.

The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Our room had all the amenities we could possibly need and was spotless! The view of the lake and gardens was spectacular.

Breakfast is included but, when we had to leave very early our first morning on a fishing expedition, they prepared delicious breakfast sandwiches with pastry, orange juice and coffee for us to take on the road. When we returned after my husband’s epic musky catch, they celebrated with us.

Dinner (which is also included)? An amazing array of options that were awesomely/deliciously prepared by Angela. I only had one complaint—she can’t make a small portion! All the servings were so very generous.

We will return to this hidden gem again.

We had the best experience at rock garden, it was so relaxing and peaceful. The staff are wonderful and friendly. It felt like a home away from home. The food is delicious, and the staff were so accommodating to our groups meal restrictions. They also have beautiful outdoor gardens, outdoor games, trails, cave nearby, and outdoor seating around the fireplace.

Such a beautiful & fun Resort. The swimming is world class with crystal clear aqua blue water. I enjoyed the Wellness Studio Experiences. The rooms are so clean. Service is amazing, the food was delectable! Wow! Looking forward to getting back for another weekend retreat! Thank you Angela & Carmen. 💕

This review is only for the dining room. Had the schnitzel dinner with Apfel strudel and it was perfect. The view from the restaurant is spectacular! Reservations for the restaurant had to be made a couple of days ahead since we were not guests at the resort.

This review relates to the cave attraction ONLY. We were 2 on a holiday Monday with many other attractions closed. The $7.50 pp admission is a ripoff, although young children may enjoy the nursery rhyme chainsaw sculptures/tableau along the trail. This is a 10-min walk to a cave about the size of a large living room. Definitely disappointing. Curious that indigenous elders would not want the sight preserved as a sacred space for the 7 warriors apparently killed in the cave. Give this a pass.
