I have been dealing with RONA Building Supplies in Hope for over seven years now, and it has consistently been a positive experience.

We’ve ordered countless loads of lumber through them for the Skawahlook Adventure Park project, and every single delivery was on time, well coordinated, and exactly what we needed. Their reliability has been a huge asset to keeping our projects on schedule.

The store itself is always well stocked, making it easy to find what you need without hassle. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely take the time to help — whether it is a big order or just a quick visit for supplies.

Simply put, RONA Hope is a fantastic hardware and lumber store. It has been a pleasure working with them over the years, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

When I needed to improvise some mudflaps for my truck with a 2x4 and some screws the staff was very helpful and even helped me assemble my contraption. Toby was 10/10 for his assistance in the parking lot. Fantastic group of people !

Female staffer was friendly and gave good advice two well dressed male Indo’s came in talked to her after which she became insulting the cat they have is cool. Heard staff in their work yard loudly gossiping and telling lies about ppl they don’t know. A car no license plates no wiper blades worn seating drab looking old American sedan has been parked out front for days as of Oct. 6 2024. The car was moved away about a week later. For some reason 5,000 ppl total have viewed the three pictures as of April 6.

The cashier was friendly with customers she was clearly familiar with ahead of me, and proceeded to treat me (a new local) cold and rude. Too bad as I moved here hoping to embrace the small town comfort I grew up in.

It's a hardware store. My rating is for the awesome group of staff who work here. Customer service is always great.
If they don't have what you want order it online or drive to Chilliwack.

This location is probably the worst Rona I’ve ever been to. If you can even find one on the floor, the employees are more often than not the human versions of potted plants - little to no personality and very lacking in product knowledge or any useful advice. I had to bring my one year old with me one time and quickly discovered their shopping carts don’t have a child seat built in so I had to carry my baby while pushing a wonky, undersized cart. Not once was I offered a hand or even greeted coming in, checking out, or leaving the store. I tried to find someone to help but finally gave up. Their prices are not competitive, their selection is lacking or they won’t have what you need at all, and customer service is at a sub-basement level. If I could give a zero stars, I absolutely would. In this economy where everything is expensive and we’re all being stretched to our limits - we should all be expecting excellent service. Just go to Chilliwack and let places like this die off.
