We booked a kayaking tour.
Our scheduled trip time turned out to be windy which made conditions not as comfortable, Jill our guide went over and above to reassure that we would be able to rebook and enjoy another. The next morning we were greeted with smiles and off for our trip to Chocolate Beach We were well informed and instructed not only about gear but safety while on the water. We never at any moment felt unsure or unsafe.
Jill was joyful and you can tell she has a passion for being on the water and sharing that experience. She shared so many interesting and fun facts along the journey. We saw loads of beautiful starfish, soaring eagles, sea lions and seals sunning themselves, we even spotted a raccoon on Goat Island!
We loved every moment of it and would do it again on our next trip to SaltSpring Island. Thank you!

My husband and I did a kayak tour to Chocolate Beach with them. It was such a fun and awesome experience. If you are traveling to Slat Spring for vacation or just visiting for a weekend, I 100% recommend looking into this! We did the 3 hour tour and got a two person kayak. We did the 6PM tour at the beginning of August. By the end of the tour we had an amazing sunset to watch which was so beautiful and serene. Our tour guide was Wyeth. He was so fun and interesting! He told a bunch of stories about the island and all the other islands you pass on the way, we got to learn a lot. Plus he made the work out super fun, didn't even feel like we were working (paddling) the whole way. They teach you everything you need to know before you leave the shore, so you do not have to worry about feeling unsafe or not knowing how to kayak beforehand!

I had a wonderful experience. They were determined to find a tour that would work for my available date, and I'm glad they did. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and kept everyone safe. They even brought cookies and tea for our little beach resting spot! We didn't spot any whales, but saw harbor seals and starfish. 100% recommend.

Had the best time ever!! Saw so many whales it was amazing!!! Thank you salt spring adventure company for making my first whale watching tour so amazing!! Shout out to Zoe and Andrew for such an amazing trip!!! 10/10 time I hope everyone visiting Saltspring checks them out even their kayaking tours are amazing!! Thanks for such an awesome time!!!

My spouse and I went on a whale watching tour. Our tour guide, Sky, was absolutely incredible and extremely knowledgeable and was providing tidbits of information the entire time, explained some history behind the island and even picked up garbage out of the ocean!
His driving of the boat was smooth and we were comfortable the entire time.
It was an incredible experience all around.

Bioluminescence Night Tour was unforgettable. A incredible experience. I would compare seeing this natural phenomenon to the magic of Northern Lights. An easy paddle and a must while visiting! Plan for a new moon as with the darkest nights is the best illumination of the light.
