I have a small business here in Barrie and am a member at the Sandbox center. It is a great opportunity for small and large business' alike to network and Collab! Also an awesome space to get stuff done!! Sometimes a change of scenery is all you need to get motivated! The best part... They're dog friendly!

We actually hosted our client appreciation lunch at the sandbox and thanks to their amazing event planner Megan Hall it was a huge success! Highly recommend a membership but also as a central spot in and local to Barrie as a venue for your next business event.

Decent space but needs some upgrades.

Chairs are very dirty and stained. What used to be white fabric is now yellow fabric, and the blue seats have multiple stains.

Very little soundproofing between rooms can be distracting during meetings.

Beautiful patio, but very warm as they had very large windows, and we were told no control over their temperature as it is controlled by the city.

Megan Hall makes this place. The whole staff is great but I am amazed by how Megan makes everyone feel at home. She is aware of what is going on and has her thumb on the pulse. She must sleep there because see seems to always be there. The Sandbox has the best in staff and facility for all your meeting needs

Great Hosts, Great Staff, INCREDIBLE Venue. From day to day meetings or hosting a corporate social event the Sandbox Centre is the perfect location in Downtown Barrie on the water! All interaction with their staff has been perfect from top to bottom. Highly suggest having a look around this place as they offer a little something for every entrepreneur, small business or big business including all your business needs! A+ Experience.

The Sandbox is a great space to host ANY type of event! Last year I hosted a book launch celebration there, and it was an absolutely INCREDIBLE experience! The staff went above and beyond to exceed my expectations, were super accommodating to everything I envisioned! I cannot say enough good things about the Sandbox Team, or of the space itself. It is a great combination of business meets social, and the energy there is nothing short of welcoming, fun, and collaborative!

My firm recently hosted an event at the Sandbox Centre in Barrie and it was a great experience. Their team (thanks Megan and Jessie) set everything up and provided us with everything we needed so that the experience was seamless. Everyone, clients and staff enjoy the event and we will be hosting another event in June because of the success and skill with which this event took place.

I took the Further Faster course here through the Hernry Bernick Centre at Georgian College. Fabulous, spacious ambiance with abundant seating and meeting areas. But the best feature is the amazing balcony that overlooks Kempenfelt Bay and the Spirit Catcher. A lovely site any day of the year and a great place to hang out in warmer weather. I meet here regularly to network and learn more about entrepreneurship.
