He showed me some of the photos as he was taking them and it was nice to have that little sneak peak! i felt like a super star and the quality of the portraits is 10/10 Shawn is definitely someone ill recommend to any friends or family looking to have photos done

We hired Shawn for our very small intimate wedding, and he was nothing but amazing! Super friendly guy on the phone when we chatted about plans for the wedding. He was very punctual and down to earth upon meeting him at the wedding. Took some amazing pre-ceremony shots of myself and my bridesmaid despite my nerves. He was very laidback and made the photo experience fun but comfortable. I normally hate my photo being taken, but Shawn made me feel beautiful that day. He had some great pose suggestions and they turned out really well. We also liked the flexible hours and that you can choose to have him stay longer if needed. The flexibility and lovely online portfolio is what made us want to reach out to him. My husband and I are very glad we chose him, and glad he was able to share in our joy that day. Highly recommend! Shawn was wonderful to work with. I usually feel a bit awkward in front of the camera, but he made the process comfortable. His pose suggestions were really helpful. We were a bit particular about who we had documenting our very (very!) small wedding because, while we were hoping for great photos, we really wanted to keep it relaxed. It was clear from Shawn's Instagram that he's a seriously gifted and talented photographer, and from our phone consultation we knew he was the perfect fit. We both loathe having our picture taken but Shawn assured us he understood the candid feel we were hoping for. The day-of was fantastic! Shawn blended in with our small group right away and was able to capture things in such a subtle way. Even our friends (guests) commented, saying how well he fit in with our group.

We received our photos this week and are blown away! We were a bit worried there wouldn't be much to capture with the event being so small and informal, but Shawn obviously saw things we didn't. I don't think we could recommend him enough. Thank you again, so much, Shawn!!

Shawn has captured the most important moments of our lives so far with our engagement, wedding and first child newborn photos. In each case he was patient and flexible with us; including doing research on his own time to figure out a very specific photo/technique we wanted done. For the amount of time shooting and final products his rates were more than fair. I always recommend him to my friends and family!

In response to the comment of not ever having been a customer: I wish I could have been! Tried to hire for a simple photo and signature for an official government request, wish I could have enjoyed your 5 star services. Instead I need to go far into the city. You’re one of the few photographers in the area. I Wish local photographers catered to photographic necessities of a simple nature and not just pick and choose what they want to do for what seems to be more money. This is the impression I got, I feel service defines a business just as much as the actual job. This review is entirely based off of a lack of service and I generously left 4 stars because you were polite. Have a great day.

I highly recommend Shawn as a professional photographer to anyone looking to capture precious moments and images.
