I brought my husband in for the Starks Treatment for Father’s Day. He got a wash, cut, style with steam towel and massage. He found it sooo relaxing and the cut was exactly what he (and I) wanted ☺️. The team was professional and quick. Thank you for the an awesome experience!

- Starks reached out to me and offered a full refund or a complimentary haircut for my last experience.
- I really appreciate the the customer service and it sounded very sincere.
- I most likely will not be going back, and do not want a refund as I did use your facilities.

In brief: Sloppy, sloppy & sloppy.

Customer service, atmosphere, ease of booking--all excellent.

But the most important thing of all, The Barber's skill, attention to detail, and customer care I found lacking from the barber I got that day.

- On the sides where it was shaved, there were hairs that were much longer sticking out of the shaved area (see photos)
- Near the ears, same issue. The lines were not clean, straggler hairs here and there.
- The neck line was sloppy.
- Neck also had the shaver scratches (see photos)
- All in all, the quality of work is worse than that of the $8 Hong Kong-uncle hair cut place my dad took me to as a kid. At least that guy can do clean lines and not leave me with scratch marks on my neck.

I took my boyfriend here to get his hair cut and I decided to hang around because... AESTHETICS! The interior design is stunning! Loved the colour scheme and the decor - it was all very clean and crisp. There was a beautiful lounge area and the customer service was amazing, I was offered sparking water and coffee while I waited. I definitely don’t mind coming back the next time the boyfriend gets a cut!

Save yourself!!! Go anywhere else!!!

Zero stars is unfortunately not an option, so I’ll provide the minimum.

After working my typical 60 hour work week, I took a moment to get a much needed haircut at Starks for the first time.

Cherry - Asian girl from Hong Kong with black hair and pink tips mutilated my haircut beyond recognition, I now have hair sticking out in every direction on my head and will probably be forced to shave it all off.

A blind four year old could do a better job cutting hair.

To add insult to injury, when I called in for the second time this morning (after they failed to pickup the phone) some lady answered who refused to give the phone to her manager, I think her name was Olivia. After I politely explained what had happened and the terrible experience I’d had, she started laughing!

I expressed my frustration more clearly after that, and the owner suddenly decided it would be wise to reach out to me directly. He has since offered to reimburse me at greater amount then what I paid for the haircut, and while I sympathize with the owner (deer in headlights), I think he obviously needs to do some restructuring immediately, with actual hair dressers and staff who have enough respect for clients so to not cause his business to immediately go insolvent.

I wouldn’t hold my breath on this place lasting long.

This was my first time going to a Starks location, and my experience was absolutely perfect!

I went in for the express treatment and beard detailing, and I am extremely pleased with the results. The staff was welcoming, professional, and polite while adhering to COVID-19 guidelines. The interior is very well done, giving a professional aura that matches the quality of service.

Will definitely be coming again, and I highly recommend booking your next appointment here!
