C'est à Hope en 1982 que le film Rambo a été tourné. Aucune trace de Sly aujourd'hui mais on peut tout de même se demander si la chambre de notre hôtel ne date pas de cette époque tant tout y est vieux et vétuste (voir photos) !||Nous ne comprenons d'ailleurs pas comment un hôtel avec des chambres aussi vieilles et fatiguées peut se retrouver en tête de classement sur tripadvisor. C'est à douter de la véracité de certains avis...||Au chapitre des bons points, il y a l'accueil du gérant, à l'anglais incompréhensible mais sympathique malgré tout et l'insonorisation des chambres. Mais pour le reste...||L'éclairage, la fermeture en bout de ficelle de la porte d'entrée, la salle de bain, les lampes de chevet, le fauteuil, les rideaux, la déco ...tout est vieux, pas sale (sauf le fauteuil) mais vieux (voir photos).||La disposition des toilettes (tellement près du mur qu'on s'y cogne) ou celle du mobilier de la chambre n'arrangent rien.||Bref on n'a pas trop envie de s'éterniser et on a hâte d'arriver au lendemain pour quitter les lieux.||Par ailleurs, le tarif n'est même pas doux et le petit déjeuner brille par son absence.||Nous avons donc été induits en erreur par ces avis et espérons qu'avec le notre vous ne le serez pas.

The owner was very friendly and courteous. The rooms are a bit outdated but very clean with fresh clean sheets. The mountain views were fantastic!

Quite run down and in need of some TLC. Some renovations have been done over the years but not professionally for sure. We booked a cabin here but several hours before we arrived, the owner called and moved us to a different room. He gave our room to someone else which likely means someone paid a higher price for the cabin (I got a deal because I booked weeks in advance). He moved us to a shared section of the motel and we had people above us that stomped around all night! The owner did reduce our fee a small amount but that did not make up for the loss of the cabin. Any owner that would do that to a customer cannot be trusted and I recommend staying clear of this place.

Service was great from a charming man. Gave me a room so I could see my vehicle out the window. Pull through parking lot. Renovated bathroom. Bathtub actually had the plug! Good wifi. Very clean! Excellent value for money. I’d take a picture of the living room space with the electric fireplace, but my belongings are covering the coffee table and big leather love-seat. This place is exactly what I want when I travel, and my next time in Hope it is my first choice.

Despite the age of the motel, it had real character and charm. The mountain views were fantastic!! The room needed a thorough cleaning but the beds were very clean and comfortable which was all we were worried about. Excellent feather pillows! Despite being just off Highway 1, it is located near the river and we were able to ask permission to walk through the native campground next door to see it:)

Rooms had all of the expected accommodations and the staff was super courteous. Guided us all the way to our room and did a pre-check to ensure we had the best experience. Very cozy, very welcoming individual cottage-like rooms.

The places are very old from like 1938 but the hospitality is very kind and nice. There were boogers on the wall but my sheets were clean! There was no bed bugs too! There was a cum spot on my blanket though. I guess the maid turned the blanket the other way so that we wouldn't see but I saw it. Overall for affordability reasons you will be okay if you visit there. Go to see the river if you go there. It's okay to stay there. You will be safe.

People above us partying all night. Stomping on ground , talking loudly until passed 1:30 am. Woke up mtiple times. Not impressed .

Front desk person great however will never book on a bottom level again if staying here again. Location great, people suck.
