Got a late start driving from Anchorage to Haines, and needed a place to stay for the night. Pulled in to Talbot Arm Inn and restaurant hearing that they were likely closed for food. When we walked in, I asked if there was any way we could get some food and Mandeep was happy to help! We ordered the poutine, a cheeseburger, Philly, chicken tenders and a spaghetti dinner. We also had soda and Yukon beer! Everything was really delicious, and it was so nice to have a good meal after a long day of driving! We were really charmed by Mandeep’s kindness, and she made our late dinner a delight. What a pleasant time in Destruction Bay—I also noticed another guy come in late and she offered him food as well. There’s really nothing better than a kind person when you’re traveling! We 100% recommend stopping here for food, snacks, gas, and a room if needed!

Did eat here a few time now and food was always good, from breakfast to dessert they got you covered!

The service is great, pretty much always a smile. And the view out the window... i mean... c'mon!

Breakfast are good and fairly priced. Orange juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate.

Soups were always good... i am huge on soup so had it everytime i ate here!

Chili is real good with just the right amount of kick to it.

Fries are really nice, hot & crispy deliciousness!

They have actual cheese curds(not the deep fried kind)!! So i had to have a poutine with extra cheese curds haha but guess what... i did a thing... i asked if they could replace the gravy with chili... and they did! Such a fantastic mix! Its an actual fair portion too! I asked the cook to add that to their menu... will see how it goes... but seriously ask for it if you enjoy eating poutine and chili... both mixed together.... Don't ask why, just do it!(The picture showing it, i couldnt help myself but ate couple fries before the picture... sorry not sorry!)

Spaghetti was alright too!

Also the Charlie Brown breakfast burrito with guacamole is also fantastic(shown in take out box)!!

Stop in, when you tired to look at the potholes and feel like filling the one in your belly... dont be shy, encourage them great place along the Alaska Highway!

First stop in Canada heading back south on the AlCan...had a poutine a chicken Cordon Bleu...not too bad at all. "More cheese" is all she had to say about the poutine

Excellent breakfast and dinner here. Reasonable prices. We were really somewhat surprised of the wonderful meals we had in the middle of nowhere. For breakfast we had eggs and pancakes which were the best pancakes ever. Dinner was pizza. Delicious. If you need a place to stop along the Alaska Highway this place is definitely a place to stop at.

The breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stop again if ever back this way, but the absolute highlight was our sweet waitress, Karla! She was very professional, and attentive, and Do friendly and polite! You definitely have a treasure with her! I enjoyed our conversation, and she is definitely a gem!😃

Great place to stop, get a meal and a clean room. Our server Mandeep was very attentive and friendly.
