Great and fast service from Tech Aid Solutions! My laptop was exhibiting signs of malware, and Derek assessed and quickly corrected the issue. He then took time to discuss other programs, efficiency and available updates for the laptop. I decided to have the laptop updated and cleaned up, and the work was completed in less than 24 hours. Derek was very customer friendly and patient with all of my questions. We are lucky to have Tech Aid Solutions in Barrie!

About a month ago, I brought my gaming PC to this location due to an ongoing issue that other places had been unable to diagnose confidently. I decided to try this shop and called in shortly before they closed. The owner answered and invited me to bring in my PC that night, offering to stay a few minutes past closing time since he believed the issue could be a quick fix.

I appreciated the owner’s willingness to help. Even though the problem turned out to be more complex than we initially thought, he assisted me in getting my PC into their system for repair. A weekend later, I received my PC back, and they had completely resolved what had been tormenting me for over a year—what personally felt like a complicated network throttling issue.

Before bringing my PC in, something was artificially limiting my download speed on Steam to just 5 MB/s. After they worked on it and I got it back home, my download speeds returned to the expected 110 MB/s. I highly recommend this shop for repairs; they did a fantastic job, and I wouldn’t consider going elsewhere!

The price was also very fair, considering that they promised to work on my PC until they uncovered the problem and resolved it.

Alex and Derek did an amazing job on my computer. I came in for a computer repair as my computer wouldn’t turn on. They found the reason and fixed it in less than a day. They also did the cable management and installed/updated the drivers for me. Amazing customer support and overall a great experience. I would highly recommend Tech Aids Solutions if you need your computer repaired as soon as possible.

I been having issues with pc for awhile now Derek took a look at it found window issues.
Fixed it for me gave it back and I ran into another crash a week after so he took a look at it again for no additional cost but he couldn’t crash the pc at his shop so couldn’t find out the cause so he gave it back to see if I could get it to crash so he could get more info with it even tho we’re having trouble pinning the issue down he is working with me to find it and not many places work with u to find the issue so would highly recommend taking your computers here.

Came in because I couldn't get one of my drivers installed on my computer I built the other day and they managed to figure it out in less than 10 minutes. They're great with computers and customer service and definitely one of the best places to go in Barrie if you need help with anything
