This was an absolutely terrible experience. My laptop was accidentally soaked with water, and while I was relieved that the motherboard wasn’t damaged and nothing caught fire, the service itself was incredibly disappointing. Without any prior warning or clear explanation, I was suddenly told that the battery needed to be replaced something unrelated to the water damage. To make matters worse, I was hit with an outrageous charge of $305 out of nowhere. I felt completely taken advantage of and would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

I do not recommend this place with zero customer service. If he is not able to fix a customer's phone, he will turn around and blame it on the customer saying they caused the issue. Focus on repairing the device regardless...just knowing the cause of the problem is enough, you don't need to focus on it or use that as excuse if your 'trial and error' fixing does not work out! if you knew you couldn't fix it then say it in the first place instead of collecting money that you claim is 'nonrefundable'

At the end of September 2024 I gave my electric longbaord to micah from Tech Know Space to fix. He claimed it would take a few days to fix at the start. 1 month later after intentionally ignoring calls or texts he demanded $209 for a "diagnostic fee". I paid and still did not receive my longboard. after MONTHS of ignored phone calls, ignored texts, we decided to visit him in his "location" listed on google. It turns out it is not a repair shop, it is a desk in a shared office space he rents. He was very aggressive towards us and did not give me back my electric longboard despite telling him we would get the police involved. We got the police involved and they ended up not being able to recover my longboard (he sold it or brought it to another location) . I am hoping when this goes to trial (it is) I will recover the money I spent on my longboard. If micah has scammed you in the past please report it to the Mississauga police.

I had a terrible experience at "techknow space." I dropped off my Lenovo 9I laptop for a screen replacement nine months ago. After three months of not hearing anything, I called Micah to check on the status. He said he hadn't had time to work on it. I offered to pick it up, but he refused, saying I had to wait for the parts to come in. Seven months later, he still hadn't done anything to the computer and lied about ordering parts. He told me if I wanted the computer back, I'd have to pay a $100 diagnostic fee even though he did nothing to the computer. And my computer would still come back broken. And after many going back and forth over text and him yelling & Cursing at me i had to just make the decision to leave the laptop there and its not worth risking my safety for it. This place is not what it seems like in the picture. It's in a small shared office, and you meet him at his cubicle and leave the building. The old owners used to have this place perfect. I don't know what happened.

They couldn't fix my Nintendo Switch Lite. It would of easier if they could of soiled and replaced the battery connector that I broke but instead, they wanted me to pay 300.00 dollars for a new logic board that took over 6 months. To future customers please keep calling them on the estimated dates of repairs. Wow, I finally looked inside my Switch Lite the plate is missing and there "Technician" soldered the battery to the the connector the surprisingly they never told me soldering battery and I want my heat sink plate back. 😡🤬

GOOD SERVICE, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE [Please read before choosing your service]

I hope everyone have a chance to read all the reviews before settling with this business. January 13, 2022, I came in to fix my Macbook Pro laptop screen. At first, this service provided great assistance, they were great. Even though, they said it will be ready in 2 hours, but later called and said the screen they had wasn't good quality, so it will take another day, and I was perfectly fine with this. On the 14th, they called me to come and pick it up, and guaranteed that they have tested everything and that the screen is great. Once I came home, first thing I did was video record me turning on the laptop, just in case anything weird happen, and to my surprised, it did, you can take a look at the photo as proof.

Afterward, I contacted and they were happy to help me fix this and apologize for it, everything was perfectly fine. Until they contacted me again next week, saying "we've replaced the screen but noticed that the colour did not match the Macbook, if you want, you can just take it, because it's not that noticeable or we can change it again for you." Of course, why would you settle for a different colour screen? I also said "I don't mind the time, you guys can take your time to do it, I'm not in a rush, as long as if the laptop came out good." and they said, "of course."

After almost a week of not hearing any further updates, I gave them a call on Sunday, January 22, and BEFORE I could say anything, the man on the phone already started listing out all the stuff that was on my profile "bad screen quality, redo, another redo, mix match redo, etc." So, there's about at least 3-4 redos based on his words, so I asked "I just want to ask, why is there so many messed up?" [Please remember, he was the one he told me and reminded me of the redos before I even said anything about it] and the guy started yelling at me over the phone, he continued to cut me off, I tried to stepped in when stopped talking and said "Please sir, I hope you can let me finish my sentence, if I offended you, then I apologized." Then he continued to scream at me and said "No, I will not let you talk. Go talk to the manager, and if you don't want your laptop fix here, go to apple." Then he hung up on me.

The day that I came to pick up my laptop, I brought up the situation in a respectful manner, I even asked if he knows the guy that was on the phone on Sunday, but it seems like they weren't too surprised to hear about it or the guy just tried to avoid my words, but they did not apologize for what happen. At the end, the service given was great, they will fix your laptop until you're satisfied, but the customer service is very bad, they don't treat you as customer, or maybe it's just that one guy over the phone, and then challenge you as if he knows the manager won't do anything.

I recently had my Sony WH1000-XM5 headphones fixed at Tech Know Space, and I couldn’t be happier with the service! The technician was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuine. He managed to fix my headphones quickly and the entire transaction was smooth. Plus, his services were reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Dropped my phone off, was very professionally handled. Phone was ready in 2 hours. Unfortunately, had an issue with the screen repair later that night. I called the number I had, and was taken in immediately the next morning for warranty repair . Problem was a faulty part from the supplier, not the original work done. Mikah threw in a free phone case for my trouble. Well done as always.
