They have a great selection of most necessities that you would need in a house hold and then some. Great selection of candies, because I love candies. Also they have a sweet little electronics section near the front casher. They almost always have decent if not in-house deals on their clothing, toys etc! They have brand named clothing with draw dropping deals. Considering this is a small town, this is your go-to place! I definitely recommend x1000000.. please check out and support locally!!!!! YAAAAAH

I recently arrived in this community for a travel work assignment. I visited The Bargain Shop as it came highly recommended. As I entered the store I could see why, one word "CAROL". Carol had the best welcome and provided the best customer service experience I needed. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed about my lack of preparation for below zero temperatures. Carol was quick to walk me through the store to get the items I needed. She cared and told me to hang in there because I could do it. Carol you make The Bargain Shop shine bright and a true reflection of the people of Hearst, Ontario.

Nice store, they have a wide variety of things, from kitchen supplies, to food, also plenty of clothes for both men, woman, and children. They even have shoes! It's the kind of store that has everything. If you need it it's probably there. All decently priced as well, I'd say they're a little cheeper there compared to other stores and the products are all in good condition. Nothing expired, or broken. I'll definitely be shopping there again in the future. Especially since the staff where all so friendly and chipper! I highly recommend.

I really like this place.. it has a nice selection of plus size clothing, along with nice clothes for kids. I do find the toys and other items to be pricy... but the customer service is awsome
