Meat is expensive, yet this is a very common issue in many countries. If you want excellent meat from a large variety of fresh cuts, then this is definitely the place to visit. I strongly recommend this butcher for anybody in the greater Ottawa area looking for delicious, fresh meats. Call ahead, and make inquiries about specials. Their staff is courteous and very knowledgeable. Do you need exquisitely marbled Japanese beef? They have that too!

Honestly the best grab and go burger in town. Their paddies are insanely large, juicy and delicious. And if you’re like me (don’t really do bread) you too can enjoy the double paddy feast

Stopped in in passing by due to the tasty aromas outside. Had the double burger and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked hamburger. Will definitely be going back to have another as well as pick up some meat from the deli.

First time there, had the smoked meat sandwich. It was excellent! It won't be my last time there. As well, the butchery itself has a massive amount of options for meats from chicken to Wagyu, and some frozen options. Definitely worth getting a sandwich there. When I go back for meats, I'll update this.

I purchased a couple of double burgers at Vera's, which is inside the Butchery. Vera's burgers cannot be beat! Don't let the "small" fries fool you -- there is easily enough for two! Don't go to Mickey Dee's and be dissatisfied. Go to Vera's and be happy!

Best place to buy meat products in Ottawa. Lots of parking. Friendly and quirky humour staff. The sausages are amazing and the prices are all reasonable. i love the veras burger here too.
