I got the last room that was available, location is ideal. The hotel is older, which is totally fine, but it’s dirty, even the ice machine was coated in dirt. Bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time, but the worst was the strong urine smell in the room masked with an air freshener.
Staff was super efficient and pleasant.
I didn’t complain at check in because it was the last room available.

Location is walking distance to shopping and restaurants. That's about the only good thing. Beds and bathroom seemed fairly clean, but the rest of the room was quite dirty. Walls were gross. No elevator, so careful about 2nd floor rooms as you'll be hauling your stuff a ways. Maintenance was ongoing and noisy. Lots of thumps and bangs all night, not sure if other guests or what it was. The balcony was useless as it was basically a greenhouse, way too hot with no ventilation. A/C was very noisy. Front staff were pleasant. Pool and hot tub are small, no shade. Absolutely not worth the money they're charging. Would be my last choice if we come this way again.

We received a free gift and a free room upgrade through a draw, they do on a daily basis. Continental breakfast was great. Very clean and good options. Room was very quiet. Lived it. We highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay here for one night on our Sunshine Coast trip. Very well priced compared to other hotels on the trip. We were on the second floor which seems to have gotten some renovations mainly in the bathrooms and new carpet. There is no elevator so if you are travelling with someone who struggles or is unable to do stairs I'd suggest asking for a ground level room. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and we greatly enjoyed them during our short stay. I would 100% stay here again.

Is always like staying in 211 A great place to come to stay visiting family. I lived on the coast 48 years.
Used to work in that hotel and every other hotel on the coast you're upgrade. And all the new work you've done to the place looks amazing⚘️❤️⚘️

This Cedars Inn is the last in my list of choice and only when there is nothing else in Gibsons available. Internet is very bad (At least in my room). The kitchenet is very poor (design and utensils). The work place desk was broken. Some lights are in non-working condition. No bath tab plug; neeeded to call to bring. The rooms are very cheap looking especially those where pets are allowed. There is always something wrong and you need to call front desk and ask to fix it, bring missing stuff, etc. Sauna is horrible. You are not even sweeting in that sauna. Gym is very muggy - no aircon and/or at least ventilation. This place has a bad reputation among the people who travells quite often to Gibsons. Do not recommend to stay in this place. Motel is cheaper and has same level of comfort and functionality or may be even better.

What an amazing experience! We booked the room online for a reasonable price. The room had a beautiful outdoor patio with a table and chairs. The inside was the most amazing room I've stayed in for a long time. It was clean, smelt nice and was very well kept. We had two queen beds and they were extremely comfortable. The pillows were soft and fluffy and the blankets were very good. The room had a heater and AC unit which was extremely handy at night when it got chilly. The bathroom was very nice however the only two complaints were that the toilet was very low to the ground and the shower head was sub standard making it hard to shower properly. Other than that I'd like to say that this is one of the best places I've stayed in for a long time.

Good enough for the price. Not a place you'd want to hang out in, but okay if you're out exploring during the day and only back at the hotel for sleeping.
