I have been to the chocolate rabbit.In lakefield several times. The help there is outstanding and the product is the best.I've ever had. Chocolate covered ginger chocolate covered raisins and chocolate truffles are outstanding to say the least. It's well worth the visit any time of year, particularly easter and christmas. If I could give them more than five stars, I would definitely do so.

Received some Valentine’s treats from this shop that were beyond disappointing. Stale, tasteless pretzels filled with subpar chocolate and candy hearts. Really not enjoyable to eat and quite expensive for such low quality ingredients. Would not recommend.

Edit: products (two boxes) were purchased before Feb. 14 and we opened them on Feb. 14. Ate two (one from each box) and product tasted old and stale with no real chocolate flavour at all. Ended up throwing out the rest. Interesting that these have been popular with others, but I did not enjoy at all.

Our hotel had some chocolate from here left out in the room. We decided to stop by Lakefield and check it out! Great selection of locally made chocolate. Friendly owner. Reasonable prices. My GF loved the chocolate she bought. Would definitely visit again!

Wow, so excited. Stopped into the new shop in East City and was greeted by Kristine. We came home with a boxed of assorted truffles and chocolate covered ginger. We are new customers and OH Boy will we be back. The truffles were out of this world. We allowed ourselves two each. They were absolutely amazing both in flavour and they looked beautiful too. We are saving the ginger for later. Best of all they are now in East City.

Strongly recommend their Black Forrest Bar - best damn chocolate bar I've ever had.
Cute little chocolate shop - Their chocolate choice is a little basic, but it works for the location and size of the shop.

My wife and I came across this absolute GEM of a family owned and operated business, Kyle and his team welcomed us the moment we walked in, such a beautiful change from typical stores. The chocolate was the best I have ever had, you can tell there is passion and care put into the chocolate, no cut corners here. Looking forward to taking my daughter back with us to learn proper hospitality and to show her that the world still has normal folk!! Kyle cheers too you and the team at the Rabbit!!
