We had the privilege of having a birthday event here. The grounds are beautiful and great for photos. The dinner experience was amazing with outstanding service and excellent dinner. We had the filet and the pickerel for dinner. Both were good but the steak was our first choice. The calamari appetizer was also very good. You cannot go wrong eating or having an event here.

Another wonderful brunch the Gates today. Such a variety of tastes from beef, chicken and seafood to salads, cheeses and pastries. Started off with the asparagus and pea soup that was great, pasta salad and fresh shrimp with a zippy cocktail sauce. I pretty much proteined up with prime rib, tenderloin, chicken and mushroom sauce and tempura shrimp. I did not hit up the omelette bar or the dessert table this time but looked good as always. Pleasant atmosphere as always and our server took great care of the four of us!

I attended a wedding at Gates on Roblin in June this year. It was a fantastic experience, beautiful venue, and the staff were great.

I have anaphylactic food allergies, and this venue was super, super accommodating. They served me specific food that was safe for me, and ensured that I would be OK to eat there. Special shoutout to Nadine who works there, and went above and beyond when certain snacks weren't safe for me, by having separate ones specially made so that with my allergies I could still participate. This kind of service is amazing!

Our family booked a private room at The Gates to celebrate our Mom's 85th birthday this past Saturday. Ray was so helpful in planning, getting us the right room for our group and working closely with Chocolate Zen to ensure we had amazing custom cakes - and they were AMAZING! We had requested cakes that reflected my mom's passions - making soups and pies and creating bouquets (especially with peonies and daisies). They truly came through for us and my mom was blown away.
The team looking after us was incredible - friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding - everyone is still talking about the dry rib appetizer!
Thanks again to Ray and his team for making our night so special - I highly recommend them for group celebrations!

Wonderful experience, Michael is the best I’d recommend to just go and see him. We came for dinner for 4. Food was delish and so were the drinks we had. Definitely a good spot for a more fancy high end type of date to impress. Great food and a nice place. 5/5

Fantastic! We enjoyed the baked brie and a chef’s sampler plate with tenderloin, lamb and a giant prawn, all perfectly done and well balanced. Our server Michael was top-notch, illustrating how excellent service completes the dining experience.

We just had our wedding at the Gates and everything flowed seamlessly throughout the entire planning process and the day of. Nadine was timely in her responses to our emails and was there the day of to ensure everything went as planned. The food was amazing and they were able to accommodate all dietary restrictions without issue. The grounds were very well maintained for the wedding day which allowed us to take photos at various locations and have a very picturesque ceremony. We couldn't have been happier with our experience.
