My laptop was no longer charging and I decided to reach out to PC Repair Guy given such consistently good reviews. I'm here to add another one to the pile 🙂 He was certain enough about my issue that he had already ordered the part before I brought my laptop in, and had it fixed the next day for a very reasonable price! Don't think twice. Bring your computer here, or have a computer built, you'll feel a level of personal service that isn't available in stores.

I chose Shane because of his very informative webpage. I called him up went over to discuss what I needed and to diagnose the computer that I had that was dying. We talked for quite a while and figured out what would cover my needs exactly. My computer was ready within 2 days. I'm very pleased with the system that I have now and Shane help talk me through what would work best.

We had a work computer go down due to some windows registry issues, Shane was very easy to communicate with, was able to get us in that same day to not only look at the problem, but also fix the problem as I waited! (Please don't expect this from every problem of him though! Not all problems are easily fixable.)

He promptly found out our SSD drive had failed but was able to extract the data we needed, installed a new drive and loaded windows along with re-uploaded our data onto the drive, and thankfully he took the time to do an ECU stress test before giving it back as he found the temperatures shooting up really quickly. He initially thought it might have been just a bad thermal paste, but to our surprise, the factory sticker for the thermal paste was still on the ECU and acting as an insulator, so he kindly took it apart, cleaned it up and applied some fresh thermal paste to it and had our computer and data running in basically an hour of his time!

Would highly recommend him to anyone now and we will likely go back to him if we have anymore issues. Thanks again Shane!

I stumbled onto the PC Repair Guy's shop when my laptop's battery decided to stop charging. Shane was so helpful and made the process of getting a new battery so smooth. He answered all of my questions, and was able to order my battery and then replace it in fewer than 10 minutes. Shane is very attentious and works very well, not only that but he has the best prices out there

got my computer built in no time and had a good chat in the mean time, would definitely recommend it

edit: had a few problems when my hardware was delivered that were only discovered later and Shane helped me troubleshoot remotely as best as he could, in less than a day the problem was found and fixed!
