Absolutely LOVE this shop. Highly recommend stopping in and picking up something here, if you are in the area. Staff are so friendly and there's lots to discover in the variety of products they sell. Any time I give someone a gift from here, they love it. Lots of beautiful crystals and great energy here. Prices are great as well.

This is NOT just another new age shop. It's a very special place run by a Mohawk woman who has created an atmosphere appealing to both highbrow wine and art tourists en route to Prince Edward County and the ordinary folks who come to the reservation to shop for cheap gas, cigarettes, and marijuana.

She has done a brilliant job of mixing her own native spirituality with the modern East-meets-West sensibilities of the (mostly White Canadian) spiritual seeker crowd. The usual suspects of crystals and incense are found in abundance here, but they are next to items that are less commonly found in urban shops like this: sage, sweetgrass, books by native authors... and even cigarettes, a quirky juxtaposition given the anti tobacco attitudes of her stereotypical new age customer.

The prices are remarkably good: I bought a midsized singing bowl for $60, and the quality is amazing! $5 - $10 gets you all sorts of beautiful wonders, including polished crystal eggs made from real crystal but sold as cheaply as the synthetic "fiber optic eggs" found elsewhere.

Most importantly the proprietor is extremely honest and ethical. My girlfriend bought a bottle of "room clearing spray", supposedly containing essences of sage and sweetgrass, as a way to spiritually cleanse a space without the use of smoke. However when we opened it in the car, it stank of fake mint, like Listerine, without a hint of the herbs listed on the label. A few hours later I went back and returned the item, and was cheerfully offered a full refund or exchange even though it had been opened. So we got a few more crystals instead.

Remember that there is no HST or other tax charged anywhere on the reservation and that includes The Sacred Circle. If you go, you might also want to check out the cannabis dispensary next door. It's owned by the same family, so it's probably equally good quality (we did not go because we were already over our cannabis budget for the weekend, but I wish we had).

It's really amazing to see an indigenous community like Tyendinaga that's pulled itself out of poverty through creating successful businesses, and even more amazing that these businesses have diversified to include culturally significant establishments like Sacred Circle. There's nothing wrong with saving money on smokes and gas, but make sure to check out this more artistic side of Tyendinaga as well!

Really good experience.
Store has a huge selection of books, stones, pendulums, incense etc.
Everything is great quality and very reasonably priced.
Mrs. Jacobs, who has the store is fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable and gives customers peace and space to browse the store.
Wonderful energy in the place.

Genuinely one of my favorite shops of this type. The selections of herbs, crystals, decorational and functional pieces for altars and such are all high quality and super pretty. The good folk who work here are always really nice and helpful. I absolutely love their stickers too. Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area!
