We had a good experience at this location. The staff was super helpful and kind. The store was clean and organized. They only had 1 of 2 pairs of shoes we were looking for, but we were happy to purchase the 1 pair there. I appreciated the level of customer service at this location!

August 5, 2023I was shopping at the store in cookstown Tanger mall outlet and I was there to buy two pairs of sneakers and maybe some dressy shoes. I was in the store literally 15 or 20 minutes and the three young employees stayed behind the counter, leaning on the counter and just talking about their weekend. I do not feel that this is great customer service. I worked in retail 26 years as a manager and I do recall that staff members should not be leaning on the counter. They should be on the floor trying to sell items. Neither one of them moved away to help any of the customers that was in the store. So you guys are not going to make any money with the teenagers that was working there that evening, it was around 5:45 PM . So I walked out they did not acknowledge me whatsoever and you guys lost a customer.

This store is completely careless about customers. We purchased a pair of shoes and nobody even cared to take off any tags. The same carelessness showed as we were informed about a welcome bonus of 10$ when you make a new account with "The Shoe Company". On our receipt, as we made a pretty big purchase we did not see the promotion. One of the staff members kept on rambling about the fact that they applied the sale when really, they did not ( we calculated the purchase at the register ). Overall an unpleasant experience. Now we need to drive all the way to another store to get the tag removed. Thank you to Sam (one of the staff members) for being the only one that assisted in our unpleasant situation.

Unfortunately when looking for shoe sizes (8.5-9) they're weren't any available in a bunch of different selections I picked but you can't blame them. They did offer to order the shoe in and if you don't like it they would give you A refund. As well you can return to any store within 60 days which is great especially during covid

I went to this entire outlet mall with about 7 shoe stores... They we're either overpriced or uneducated I guess. I was looking for help because I have a couple of missing toes and no one seemed to know what to do other than tell me my feet are different sizes which I already know. Now the big surprise was that nobody has ever heard or can lead me to a shoe that doesn't have rubber soles. They're called grounding shoes by some people and one of the biggest misconceptions that we have is a race is that we need rubber soled shoes... We all know rubber disconnects us from electrical energy. The Earth is full of electrical energy and that's how we are all connected. It'd be nice if a shoe company or sales company would learn more about this and help teach the masses. It's a concept that I've just recently have been told about and I find it very interesting. With all the technology in the world you think there'd be more education on this.

On November 23 I chose a pair of boots but since there wasn't the size I needed the worker at the store placed an order for me online. While ordering I was told I would receive my order on the 26th or the 29th. On November 26th, I haven't even received any information regarding the status of my order. I called twice to customer service, and no help and answer was provided. They said they're looking for the right size and that the date I'm supposed to receive my shoes is unknown. Since the package wan't even made I asked for a refund, and the answer that I received was a no! From my experience I do not recommend the services this store has to offer. The staff are uneducated.

One of the worst customer service. Worst staff manager. Stay away. Could gave zero stars if there is option. Made me drove all the way and then can’t even exchange pair with receipt.
