Absolutely delicious Donair! Close to, if not the best I have had! Recommend for sure, apparently the seafood chowder was also really nice 👍🤤
*EDIT* came back here the next night, got the poor man's sandwich, hands down delicious 🤤🤤 photos don't do it justice (huge sandwich)

Thought I'd give underbelly a try since I was in the area. Wasn't expecting much as in the Kootenays the food scene has been okay at best. Walked in, owner was very friendly and welcoming, atmosphere was cozy and the open kitchen lets you see him make everything fresh right there. Got the Po Boy pulled pork sandwich and was very pleasantly surprised how absolutely loaded it was and the hefty serving of pulled pork in it compared to other places I have had similar orders. Bread was obviously very fresh and perfectly toasted, peppers were roasted just right. Flavour of the pulled pork was exceptional as well. Absolutely marking this as a place to stop in anytime I'm in the area.

Looking for a good take-out feed? Then you can't go wrong with this place. Amazing decor and what looks to be a one-man show. Didn't take long to cook.

The super chill music made us forget we even ordered food and felt more like we were chilling in an underground hiding spot.

The food absolutely made me want to stop here everytime I drive through the area. The mural and artwork was the cherry on top! If this place were dine-in, it would be too good! 5 stars are not enough!

Staff was amazing. They ONLY do take out, which is fine as we just ate in the hotel room. Pho soup doesn't use real pho broth, more of a beef broth. Not authentic Pho. Mac n cheese uses real cheese, very tasty. Beef brisket poor boy was extremely good.

Take out only but the chef is wonderfully engaging as he prepares some of the most delicious and hearty hot sandwiches you’ll ever eat. It is worth sticking around. The Gong Bao was yummy. As mentioned in another review, the Pho is unlike anything you’ve likely had in a Vietnamese restaurant but more of a bone soup with noodles, big chunks of brisket and some of the typical fixings. Like everything I’ve eaten at Underbelly, it is delicious and hearty but be aware that it may not be what you are expecting.

Just the right balance of smoked-salty-sweetness! Loved the Asian wrap with fresh and pickled vegetables and smoked salmon. Michel delivered the order to us at Rossland Brewing Company next door. Amazing service and warm atmosphere all around!

So delicious!! 😋 I had the Brisket Donair and Mac and Cheese. Both were super tasty. The price was excellent for this quality of food. I can't wait to try everything on the menu.
They use fresh high quality ingredients and you can taste it.
