I attended “Theatre Baddeck” on July 4 with 4 lovely ladies. Our experience, wonderful. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming. The actors were entertaining. The play was funny, yet a story of what one may call “typical two older” (not older older😂) men sharing stories of fishing the Margaree & the river pools & the get away! They were funny. One would swear they actually lived the story they shared because no pause or thinking of “lines” One felt they were listening to a real life comedy, yet heart felt story. Theatre Baddeck has its own small town country charm that makes one feel at home. The setting is charming. I’m grateful I bought the ticket & attended the show. Thank you to Hanna and her crew! Great production. May you continue successfully in what you’re doing.

I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the play, *The Company Store*! The actors were phenomenal, and the emotion they brought to the stage was palpable, flowing through the crowd. My 20-year-old stepson, just like me, walked out on cloud nine, full of praise. We were all transported by the incredible performances and storytelling. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can't recommend it enough. Bravo to the entire company!

We were on Cape Breton for a few days and a play at Theatre Baddeck was suggested. We saw Half-Cracked: The Legend of Sissy Mary. Loved it!! Beautiful little theatre. Friendly staff. We were able to get a beer and a nice glass of wine to add to the ambiance. Great set design! The 3 stars were fabulous actors. Highly recommend the theatre and the play!

We just saw The Fly Fisher’s Companion at Theatre Baddeck and it was SO good!!! This theatre is a hometown theatre, small and quaint, but that part made it all the better. You could purchase a small variety of drinks, which was perfect. Dont hesitate to go. We went on a rainy day but rain or shine I would go again! ❤️❤️

A small theater for a small town. Not a bad setup for what it is. They have a good operation with the bar for beverages and intermission. The setting is decent and the staff work are nice. The show and cast are close to the audience which makes for a nice interaction and sound without audio equipment.

The Fly Fisherman’s Companion was funny and heartfelt. We laughed, we cried, and went home to have single malt in our cabin.

We've attended 2 performances during our visit this summer - each very different, but both excellently done! The props and creativity is outstanding! Half Cracked keep us giggling throughout, and The Hydrofoil Mystery was amazing the way they utilized minimum props, but truly made us feel we were transported to 1917. That 'underwater' scene was amazing! So creative! Sorry we'll miss the Christmas play, as we will be back home in Ontario - but we'll be back next summer!
