I have owned 2 rav 4 and am completely happy with the quality and workmanship.

My 2017 RAV4 was built at this plant. I bought it brand new... At 2500 miles the transmission had to be replaced. At 4500 miles the engine started leaking oil from the timing chain cover and had to be fixed. Extremely poor quality control. Will never buy Canada made vehicle again. Stick with "Made in Japan" quality.

In June 2024, i bought a brand new Rav4 xle Hybrid which was made in this plant. I wanted to bring into notice that The DUST DEFECT error made at the Paint job, that got missed by i guess 2-3 people. (Rear Door right side)
Rav4 has a great popularity and for paying such a huge amount i expect better Job in building this suv.

The shipping and receiving department here is the most useless, if you want to be to get unloaded here be ready to spend a couple of hours waiting , not profesional making people waste their time waiting , nobody knows nothing here.
