2021 we spent 1 week here. Loved it so much that we just spent 2 weeks here this summer! Cabins are very clean, have everything you need, staff easy to talk to and helpful, low speed limit insured safety of the kids walking around, the little beach is good but I recommend water shoes since the flat rocks are slippery. So incredibly quiet at night with amazing views of the sky. Location is central enough to most "tourist" places. Loved it again and booked another 2 weeks next year. I highly recommend. 10/10

Our first time here and won't be the last. Perfect view from our cabin of Lake Manitou. The bf went fishing just on the docks and had a great time. The park was quiet even for the Father's Day weekend.
Cabin was clean and perfect for a couple and a dog. Rustic and cozy. Expect little critters to get it in cabin lol. But hey, part of the experience. Definitely bring bug spray and those mosquito coils you get at the dollar store.
The family that runs it are very nice and do a good job running the park. Thank you guys for all your work!

Visited manitoulin for a week. Stayed in cabin #4, fully stocked kitchen, nice hot water for shower, clean, quiet and very affordable. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going in that area. They are situated pretty much in the middle of everything worth visiting/site seeing. Again, very quiet and calm.

This is a great place to spend a few days and unwind. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but the owners made sure to only charge us for half the day of a boat rental instead of the full day since we couldn't use it during a storm.
They promote a sanded beach, and there is sand, but it's only on land. There are rocks and not sand at the water. The kids from the park had fun by jumping off the docks all day which did make it difficult to try to fish that area but there wasn't much more for them to do considering the current circumstances. There is a review that talked about feeling like an outsider and I did get that feeling. I felt as though I was bothering when I needed to speak with the owners. That was only because they were hanging out with people who camp there all the time. So if you want a place to stick to yourself, enjoy the scenery, and maybe get some fishing in, this is the place for you. I would definitely bring a big enough boat.

My first time to the island. This park has an amazing view of the lake. The cabin was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and took care of us. We are definitely coming back. It's a little piece of paradise.

We had the pleasure to visit Uncle Steve's on the Labour Day weekend for 2 great nights. What a fantastic place to get together with friends and visit Manitoulin Island. We rented cabin 1 and 5. Being that we came on motorcycles it was great that the cabins came fully equipped. They were very clean and organized. We had all the privacy we needed for our visit and looking forward to returning.
