These guys are the best! We have tried other computer places in Greater Moncton - this is the only shop we can give an unconditional five stars and the promise of all our future business. Two things really impressed. I am an old lady with a deep engineering and technical background. I often feel walking into these computer shops as a senior and particularly a woman that I must have "Please talk to me like I am an idiot and rip me off" tattooed on my forehead. (Best Buy, I am looking at you!). Not at Unison - both Jeremy and Fred were consistently great to deal with. I was mostly speaking with Jeremy over the space of a few days - It was so unusual and very appreciated to have consistent clear, honest communication - and he was patient with my occasional duh moments too! The other thing that impressed was their honesty and outstanding technical skill. My issue was a old laptop that would not boot. The fix turned out to be a whole lot more complicated and time-consuming than could have been anticipated. It was fixed once, I paid and picked it up. It still had problems but weird and obscure problems. There are many bad (and expensive) ways this could have been handled by Unison.To my great relief they took it back without question and Jeremy spent much longer than I am sure he wanted to figuring it out and fixing it, for no additional charge. This is a long review but I really want to spread the word about this business.We have several computers and are on a tight budget - computer issues can cause a lot of stress and anxiety, especially if you don't have a place you trust to service them - so if you are old, female, broke, (or all of the above!) think of Unison 😉 Also they sell refurbished machines with a good warranty. Next time one of ours go, instead of buying from EBay or Amazon we will support a local Canadian business with our $'s. FINALLY, I don't know about Fred but rumour has it that Timbits are appreciated as a thank you by Jeremy. Very sincere thanks, you guys.

I absolutely love the place! I recently bought a laptop from Unison for a relatively fair price, and I had previously sent in a faulty laptop and got a quick answer from the owner in a matter of hours! Sadly, it was beyond repair however he was able to offer to transfer all my data into a new drive at a good price! The owner is really friendly to talk with, as when with him, we’d have really great conversations! I would be more then glad to come back here whenever something computer related goes wrong or if I need something to add onto my new laptop!

I took my laptop to this repair shop because it had a black screen issue. After a diagnosis, they told me that a RAM stick and a fan needed to be replaced, and quoted me CAD 300 for the repair. I agreed. A week later, they called to inform me that the fan they ordered was incorrect and had to be returned and replaced. Another week passed, and they said the laptop was fixed. However, after using it for just an hour, the black screen issue reoccurred. I brought it back to them, and after a day, they admitted they couldn't fix it. I ended up paying CAD 345 in total and was only refunded CAD 115, and only if I returned the new fan and RAM stick. Trust me, avoid this shop at all costs.

Asked to build PC with items I already had bought because I had troubles with PC not posting. They spotted the problem right away being a faulty ram and replaced it. Everything was done in less than 24 hours.
But Fan pins were bent because everything was zip-tied too tight. Dvd player was not added and HDD wasn't showing up (SATA cable issue related). I fixed the issues and ordered a replacement motherboard since it was new. Service was relatively expensive specially since I had to troubleshoot mentioned stuff after it was done.

Great service! Brought my work laptop for screen replacement after being told by several other shops that they were unable to fix it and Unison fixed it with no questions asked. Highly recommend their services and will go back if needed in the future!
