Met with Catherine Watson in April 2018. Paid full price for meeting getting advice on my legal entitlements under the law. My ex and I had agreed to settle on our own and I was going to have her draft the agreement up for us. Simple. Later I found out the advice was incorrect. Mid April I sent a rough copy of the agreement I wanted drafted up. I was communicating with her sect/assistant for 3 months and they could not give me a finished copy of the agreement. The first draft I got was a standard agreement nothing like what I had requested. When I asked the sect. Why she sent me that she said that she had to send me something! I also found out that Cathlerine was on holidays for weeks and was never told meanwhile I was waiting. I should have known something was up. They wanted to charge me for a consultation when I dropped off the deposit. It was reversed when I pointed it out. Frustrated finally on June the 13th, I spoke to Catherine directly and asked why it took so long to get this done. She said she would mail me a draft if that was OK? I said no, why mail me we have been emailing all along. More delays. She told me I was not her only client, she was busy with other clients that I should get another lawyer. Then she proceeded to mail me another bill. What could have been simple turned very ugly for a long time. Never got a completed agreement from her which I paid a lot of money for. This delay caused me much hardship. My x refused to deal with me later, no time for me new girlfriend. Caused huge delays, many $$$ in legal fees. House got on market on down turn. Lost more than $100,000 due to delays. I would never, never recommend her to anyone.

I can't say good enough things about Paul. Paul has been working with me for around 2 years. He is very kind and down to earth but also extremely competent and good at what he does. Terrible service. I was dealing with Catherine and her assistant. Everything was left until the last minute. There were errors on the separation agreement she prepared. In multiple places on the agreement our names were incorrect. Our names had been copied and pasted over someone else's agreement. The fee was outrageous. We had it redone professionally by Johnson and Schwass for less then what we were charged for the cut and paste job.
