--My experience with Zavtech:--
We purchased a direct drive garage door opener which I had intended to install myself. When we measured out our space, we were a few inches shy of having enough space between the tension rod and the wall for a simple install job. So, I called around to almost every vendor that services the West Grey area to see if we should get it done professionally instead.

Mitch from Zavtech was the first person I spoke to that didn't try to push for unnecessary upselling, and it feels like he genuinely cares about building positive customer relationships. Mitch had me booked for a same-day, no-nonsense service call within minutes.

I'm very particular with how things are done around the home, which is why I normally do things myself. As much as I hate to admit it, Larry did a much better job than I could have done myself. He arrived with all the right tools, told me about the best install method for our situation, then got to work.

In no time at all, he had fixed a rusted roller, checked the balance on the door, loosened the torsion springs and moved the tension rod to install the opener, ran and spliced all the cables, programmed a universal keypad on the outside, and cleaned everything up. From A-Z, the entire install was done incredibly well: 10/10, no splash.

Overall, we're very happy that we went with Zavtech for the install, and would definitely recommend them!

It was so helpful to find the best solution for my home, from aesthetics to function. This company is amazing. I called having issues with my garage door not opening, Mitch listened and offered to guide me through how to fix if I was comfortable. I said no. Within a couple of hours I have Jeff at the door. He did explained what he was doing, what he thought might be the issue. He oiled everything up and was on his way, thanking me for the business.

We hired Zavtech to install two Genie garage door openers in our new home. One of the units was poorly manufactured with a pinched lighting wire that constantly caused the unit to short out and trip the breaker (see my 1 Star review for the Genie product on Amazon). Mitch from Zavtech patiently trouble shot the issue, discovered the flaw and quickly remedied it. He did all this with a great attitude and a great sense of humour. If you are looking for any work on your garage or garage door openers, look no further. It is rare now for an experience or company to exceed my expectations...these guys did it.
